About Canyon Point

Canyon Point is a condominium community in the heart of Aliso Viejo, California that is considered the perfect place to raise a family. Its affordable prices and luxury amenities make it a desirable neighborhood.

Canyon Point is in a low-crime city and has an excellent school system with the Capistrano Unified Public School District which offers award winning facilities such as Canyon Vista Elementary School, Don Juan Avila Middle School, and Aliso Niguel High School. This is also the home of Soka University which is located just up the street.

Canyon Point is nestled between Pacific Park and Wood Canyon Drive. It is comprised of resort-style condos that were built in 1998 with five floor plans. In the beginning these units were leased, but in recent years they were renovated and upgraded so that they could be put on the market. The smallest plan, called The Point, has one bedroom, one bathroom, and 845 square feet of living space. The largest design, The Canyon, has two bedrooms, two baths, and 1,235 square feet. All homes have a private patio or balcony; many have gas fireplaces, travertine tile floors, and gas fireplaces. Only some have a one-car detached garage. The Home Owners Association dues tend to be low but there is a Mello Roos tax.

Community benefits include a clubhouse with fitness center, swimming pool, and spa. The neighborhood is surrounded by nature and there are several parks in this area. Residents have easy access to freeways, grocery stores, retail, entertainment, and recreation. Canyon Point is only seven miles from Laguna Beach and there are many hiking trails in this region.

The center of the city features the Aliso Viejo Town Center which offers a variety of shopping and dining experiences plus a 20 Theater Cineplex. You’ll find stores and restaurants here like Barnes & Noble, Pier 1 Imports, Little Caesar’s Pizza, Taco Bell, and Romano’s Macaroni Grill.
